Jo Ratcliffe

Jo has 25 years local authority experience pre- and post-qualifying as a social worker, qualifying as a social worker in 1998. She spent until 2014 in statutory agencies in a variety of roles before become a full-time Trainer and Consultant. Over this time some of the roles Jo held were Team Manager Referral and Assessment Team, Child Protection Conference Chair, IRO and LADO, using Signs of Safety in all of these roles as her approach to practice and leadership. For a two year period Jo led the implementation as a strategic lead.

Since 2014 Jo has worked closely were numerous agencies supporting them during their implementations which have all been UK based.

After a 6 year break from practice Jo has returned part-time to a local authority that uses Signs of Safety as their approach to practice, working in a Disabled Children's Service. Jo plans on bringing her new practice experience back into her training and consultancy to further assist implementing agencies and vice versa!
