Licensed Signs of Safety Trainer & Consultant, IT Solution Accredited 🟠🔵🟢
Haley Muir is a Signs of Safety Trainer and Consultant who has used Signs of Safety since qualifying as a social worker in 2001. With a background in both child protection and working in the voluntary sector, Haley has used Signs of Safety successfully as her approach in all settings working across the continuum of services that children and their families experience.
Haley has trained full-time since 2015 yet remains a registered social worker in the UK. Haley has trained nationally and internationally in a wide range of jurisdictions and agency/service types due to her own background, and is able to respond to the different needs of each whilst remaining true to the spirit of Signs of Safety. As well as training, she works alongside Signs of Safety Consultants supporting whole agency implementations, including consulting on Learning Cases and working with agency practice leads embedding Signs of Safety. She has also worked alongside consultants providing consultation on Whole System Learning Cases with workers, their managers and senior managers, to identify and support workflow processes as well as consulting on specific cases.
Haley is passionate about working with families and supporting them towards maintaining independence, and passionate about supporting colleagues to work creatively and effectively within an arena of complex procedures, policies and legislation.
