The Department of Communities is hosting the fifth Western Australian Signs of Safety Gathering from 19th – 21st February 2019 at Technology Park Function Centre, Bentley.
The theme of this year’s Gathering is “People. Place. Home — Towards a Common Purpose” and will give participants an opportunity to see how the Signs of Safety Practice Framework is used in practice, ten years after implementation in Western Australia. Trainers and Consultants speaking at the Gathering include Caara Goddard (Canada), Agi Gault (UK), Tim Decker (USA), Mike Caslor (Canada), Joke Wiggerink (The Netherlands), and Terry Murphy (Australia).
The Gathering will also have a display room showcasing examples of good case practice. There will be international and interstate presentations from:
- Canada
- United States
- United Kingdom
- Singapore
- Tasmania
- Chiba Prefecture, Japan
